DEAN’S MESSAGE

I am very pleased to welcome you to the Faculty of Information Technology and Computer Science (FIT) at Sinai University (SU). We are one of the leading providers of computing education in Egypt. Moreover, we are also a leading destination for students from some of the neighboring countries. In FIT you will find exciting programs in a truly high-tech environment with world-class staff members. The overall mission of our faculty is to develop professionals who can manage professionally, ethically, sensitively and holistically in a range of organizations in an increasingly global and rapidly changing environment. Our graduates can be found in almost all types of business, industrial, academic, community, and professional life. In addition to this, some of them have become successful entrepreneurs and successful businessmen. FIT has three departments: Computer Science and Software Engineering, Information Technology, and Information and Decision Support Systems.

FIT is very active in research and enhancement projects, both locally and internationally. FIT has a collaboration agreement with both Helwan University (HU) and Beni Sweif University (BU) to mutually offer their postgraduate programs leading to Master and Doctorate degrees. We also are in collaboration with Ahram Canadian University (ACU) to implement a joint master’s degree.

The Faculty of Pharmacy educates pharmacy practitioners to meet the pharmaceutical care needs of the community. The Faculty is committed to improving human health through the development of new drugs, optimization of drug use, and improvement of pharmaceutical services. It is also committed to advancing pharmaceutical technology to strengthen Egypt economy.

The IT department is equipped with the latest technology and latest licensed software. It also contains over 60 computer units working in parallel.
